With record-setting highs surrounding air travel this holiday season, the $6M Center for Air Transportation Resilience (CATRes) looks to reduce the disruptive impact of major storms, facility outages and other shocks. Michigan Aerospace Professor Max Li has been awarded $870k for the University of Michigan and his research group, the Laboratory for Air Transportation, Infrastructure, and Connected Environments (LATTICE).

By collaborating with industry leaders and universities around the country, this NASA University Leadership Initiative (ULI), aims to reduce delays and build a more resilient National Airspace System.
